Illawarra Police Rescue Squad were first arriving to a fire south of Sydney recently and deployed their drone for evidence gathering and observations. They released the video which shows a large pile of dumped rubbish alight which has spread to the surrounding grass and bush land. They use a stock standard Phantom 4 for their recon and put it to good use. Stay safe, all!

Illawarra PRS were the first Emergency Service unit on scene this afternoon when black smoke was seen billowing from a reserve in Berkeley. We were able to deploy our Remotely Piloted Aircraft in order to monitor the fire and record evidence for further investigation. The aircraft will be deployed at suspicious fires for the purpose of recording the scene and gathering evidence from above.
