On the 27th of April, FRNSW stations 027 Parramatta and 067 Baulkham Hills were responded to reports of a house fire in Winston Hills, Sydney. As crews were responding, the incident was upgraded to a 2nd alarm structure fire.

When they arrived, crews found a carport and multiple vehicles well alight. As it turns out, the neighbor next door kicked in the front door of the house and entered to find the owner asleep after a night shift. He was removed, along with his dog, from the house by the legend next door!

The fire was quickly contained to the carport areas of both houses. The carports, 3 cars, and a motorbike were destroyed and damage from heat and smoke to both houses.
