Georgia Peach arrived in Fremantle Port, Western Australia, in preparation for the fire season. It is scheduled to come online in December and is bound to get a workout over in those parts. Watch this amazing video that DFES shot of the machine getting unloaded and assembled, ready to fly straight from the docks.
Georgia Peach arrived in Fremantle Port yesterday, after a busy fire season in Greece. The bright orange Air-Crane carries up to 7,560 litres of water in each load and can refill in less than 18 seconds when scooping from the sea or large dams, and 45 seconds hovering over water – now watch this beast go from ship to sky in 45 seconds. Georgia Peach will now undergo routine maintenance to ensure she's in peak flying condition ahead of coming online later in December.
