Paul Combs is a world renowned fire service illustrator known for accurate depictions of fire brigade life, politics and emotions. Here are a few of the drawings he has created that relate to mental health, stress and well being.

Recently, a Canadian firefighter released a song titled “When those sirens are gone” which delves right into the feelings and emotions of first responders. You can watch that here. It’s very worth it – but it also contains images of serious MVA’s – so take that into consideration before watching.
