Not many stations out there can show off timber floors in their engine bay! Have a look at the great station that Mt Barker VFRS runs over in WA. It was built in the 60’s and shows off a real sense of pride in what they do.

Georgia Peach arrived in Fremantle Port, Western Australia, in preparation for the fire season. It is scheduled to come online in December and is bound to get a workout over in those parts. We spoke with Bunbury VFB from Western Australia about a recent out of area deployment they went on, flown in to work on a large bush fire burning in the Pilbara.
They battled long nights, hot weather, deteriorating conditions and huge distances on foot. Sounds like a lot of hard yakka by all those crews working that fire. Some great photos attached to this one as well!
