Mt Barker VFRS in Western Australia

Not many stations out there can show off timber floors in their engine bay! Have a look at the great station that Mt Barker VFRS runs over in WA. It was built in the 60’s and shows off a real sense of pride in what they do.

On Scene : Firies from Bunbury VFB flown in for large bush fire

We spoke with Bunbury VFB from Western Australia about a recent out of area deployment they went on, flown in to work on a large bush fire burning in the Pilbara.

They battled long nights, hot weather, deteriorating conditions and huge distances on foot. Sounds like a lot of hard yakka by all those crews working that fire. Some great photos attached to this one as well!
