032 Mt Druitt were responded to reports of a structure fire in Carlisle Ave, Hebersham and on arrival found a granny flat well alight with exposures. This was the third house fire for their shift – the cause of the fire is being investigated.
High winds again wreak havoc for NSW firefighters – multiple units from the NSW RFS and Fire & Rescue NSW were responded to a reported structure fire in Oxford Falls. On arrival, crews found a large structure well alight along with vehicles and parts of the bushland. The fire was fanned by strong winds which caused spot fires to occur over 100M away from the house.
