Photos & Video: Firies from around Australia climb for MND!

On the 14th of October, Firefighters from all over Australia descended on Sydney to raise funds in an effort to help end Motor Neurone Disease. 596 Firefighters climbed the 1,504 steps of Sydney Tower wearing full structural PPE and raised over $573,000 for the cause. We asked firies to send us a few photos and we got *lots*. Come and check out photos of these legends AND the video we put together.

Incredible photos as truck hangs off bridge – on fire!

This is one of those scenarios you draw on a whiteboard and never really think you’ll see. A B-double truck has slammed into a guardrail and bridge, hung the trailer off the side off the side of the bridge and then caught fire. It happened on the Hume Highway and the Wingecarribee River Bridge in Berrima and drew a large scale response from both the NSW Rural Fire Service and Fire & Rescue NSW.
