On October 13th CFA and MFB stations responded to reports of a factory fire – going well. The premises known as HyChill produced air-conditioning gas and reportedly had anywhere from 100-300 gas cylinders in the factory.
Graeme from South East Media SA was on scene at a silo fire in Mt Gambier where wood chip that was stored in silos caught fire requiring a large scale response from both the SA MFS and CFS. It is believed to have started as a result of a dust explosion.
In what can only be described as a brazen attempt on the owner’s life, a house cat has blown up the kitchen in a house in Emu Plains, NSW. It appears an aerosol can was left on the stove top, which was accidentally turned on by the feline in the early hours of the morning. Check out the damage!
One man has reportedly suffered serious burns after an explosion in a chemical disposal factory in Sydney. The incident quickly escalated to 4th alarm and the CareFlight helicopter was dispatched to transport the man who was injured in the explosion.
The tanker was driving down the highway when it overturned, crashed and exploded causing a large running fuel fire. The driver of the truck was killed.
