The big guns have been out recently for bush fires burning to the north of Sydney, up around the Williamtown and Raymond Terrace area. There have been lots of videos doing the rounds of this impressive machine working in close proximity to crews and houses, so we grabbed a few of the best ones for you!

Georgia Peach arrived in Fremantle Port, Western Australia, in preparation for the fire season. It is scheduled to come online in December and is bound to get a workout over in those parts. George Mirage Beotich and Greg from G.E.G Aviation Photography took a trip out to Camden, south west of Sydney, to look at the mighty CH-47D. This firefighting chopper is on loan from California and will be housed at Camden Airport for the current fire season. It carries 7,600 litres of water – which makes it the largest water based firefighting chopper in the country.
