Roleystone Volunteer Fire Brigade in WA have been on the go for the last few days with working bush fires – they’ve had four crew rotations in the field, along with additional patrols throughout the day. Firies have been working hard through the day and night to get containment on two fires which became conjoined in the area. These fires have been managed from the forward control point located at the intersection of South West HWY and Cooliabberra Drive, Mount Richon
Here’s a few photos of their crews in action.
I founded Flashover to promote Australian Firefighting. I’ve been a volunteer and a paid firefighter but now I spend my time chasing up leads, promoting good mental health and making the occasional Grumpy Firecom comic!
