Multiple units from the NSW RFS and Fire & Rescue NSW were responded to a reported structure fire. On arrival, crews found a large structure well alight along with vehicles and sections of the surrounding bushland. The fire was fanned by strong winds which caused spot fires to occur over 100M away from the house. Three occupants and their pets narrowly escaped unharmed and this call was initially for persons reported trapped inside.

Last night Warringah HQ responded on the Warringah Flyer to a report of a house Fully involved by fire, once on scene we were faced with an absolute inferno, a 3 story house fully involved, fanned by strong winds causing numerous amounts of spot fires in the surrounding bushland. All crews works extremely well together along side FRNSW, NSW Police & Ambulance NSW and NSW RFS.

#Ingleside #NSWRFS volunteers along with many RFS & FRNSW appliances responded just after 7pm Saturday night to a #house fire, #Oxford Falls Rd West, Oxford Falls. A large 3 storey house was fully involved upon arrival making access difficult due to heat and flames. Crews also had difficulty due to the terrain around the house. The house was completely destroyed by fire. Fire and Rescue NSW & NSW Rural Fire Service worked closely together until 10pm when the fire was mostly brought under control. #RFS remained overnight and will continue at the house fire today extinguishing the smouldering fire. Our thoughts are also with those that lost their personal things in the house fire.
