Fire crews are undertaking defensive firefighting at what is believed to be a recycling facility.
The structure is approximately 35 metres x 45 metres in size.
ACT Fire & Rescue has three fire trucks, two CAFS tanker, the breathing aparartus support van, HAZMAT unit, Bronto aerial appliance, two commanders and superintendent on scene.
An ambulance is also in attendance as a precaution.
Smoke from the fire is becoming visible in nearby suburbs including over the border in Jerrabomberra and Queanbeyan. – ACT FIRE
