Derek Ho made his way out to a large factory fire in Strathfield, Sydney. The factory was a shop-fitting business and the fire spread to multiple exposures, drawing a 4th Alarm response from Fire & Rescue NSW with a request for additional pumpers. The fire is now being treated as suspicious and anyone with information is urged to contact crime stoppers.
Stations that attended were Burwood, Bankstown, Lidcombe, Lakemba, Campsie, Concord, Ashfield, Silverwater, Rhodes, Revesby, Hurstville, Chester Hill, Parramatta, Kogarah, Alexandria (MCC), Botany, Busby, Neutral Bay and Baulkham Hills
I founded Flashover to promote Australian Firefighting. I’ve been a volunteer and a paid firefighter but now I spend my time chasing up leads, promoting good mental health and making the occasional Grumpy Firecom comic!
