Fire Station destroyed by bushfires in NSW

It’s incredibly sobering to see images such as these because you just know that the firefighters from the station were out on the ground putting it all on the line – knowing that their homes and station were at risk. The Rainbow Flat Rural Fire Station was destroyed along with many houses in the area, as just one of the large fires burning across the state moved through.
If anyone has details or information on how firies across the country could help out the crew at Rainbow Flat, please let get in contact with us. Hang in there everyone and stay safe.
Thanks to Glenda for the photos and video.
I founded Flashover to promote Australian Firefighting. I’ve been a volunteer and a paid firefighter but now I spend my time chasing up leads, promoting good mental health and making the occasional Grumpy Firecom comic!
