A warehouse / factory went up in flames in Camperdown requiring a 3rd alarm response to tackle the blaze. Streets were narrow and high winds were a challenge for firefighters.

We spoke with Bunbury VFB from Western Australia about a recent out of area deployment they went on, flown in to work on a large bush fire burning in the Pilbara.
They battled long nights, hot weather, deteriorating conditions and huge distances on foot. Sounds like a lot of hard yakka by all those crews working that fire. Some great photos attached to this one as well!

On the 14th of October, Firefighters from all over Australia descended on Sydney to raise funds in an effort to help end Motor Neurone Disease. 596 Firefighters climbed the 1,504 steps of Sydney Tower wearing full structural PPE and raised over $573,000 for the cause. A shop-fitting factory went up in flames in Strathfield, drawing a 4th Alarm response with a call for additional pumpers. The fire spread to exposures and Derek Ho was there to grab some great photos.
