Fires have raged in the northern parts of NSW over the past few days as unprecedented fire weather has pushed across parts of Australia. One NSW Rural Fire Service firefighter has been critically burnt and their tanker destroyed by fire whilst actively fighting fires in Tenterfield.

On the 27th of April, multiple 000 calls were received to a petrol station alight in Windsor, NSW. A corvette had finished filling with petrol and when the owner started the car next to the bowser, it erupted into flames.
On the 27th of April, FRNSW stations 027 Parramatta and 067 Baulkham Hills were responded to reports of a house fire in Winston Hills, Sydney. As crews were responding, the incident was upgraded to a 2nd alarm structure fire.
On March 5th, 2019, multiple 000 calls were received to a grass fire in
Plunkett Road, Cedar Creek QLD. As appliances were responding, the incident was upgraded to a car fire, then subsequently a house fire.
