FRNSW 428 Queanbeyan were responded to the Beard industrial estate in the ACT to a reports of a building fire. On arrival they found a large metal recycling yard on fire, with a number of explosions emanating from within.

George Mirage Beotich and Greg from G.E.G Aviation Photography took a trip out to Camden, south west of Sydney, to look at the mighty CH-47D. This firefighting chopper is on loan from California and will be housed at Camden Airport for the current fire season. It carries 7,600 litres of water - which makes it the largest water based firefighting chopper in the country.
A fire has destroyed a large fish factory and aircraft hanger in Haast, New Zealand. Helicopters with monsoon buckets were called in to assist the local fire station with the fire, which involved putting out other helicopters. The building housed aircraft, fishing machinery and bulk chemical storage which presented multiple issues for the arriving crews.

Watch as a helicopter conducting firefighting operations in Portugal finishes a refill and strikes power lines on the way back to the fireground. It's hard to see in the video, but apparently the lines dropped close to the people in the boat.
