As Australian firefighters continue to endure the early start to the season, firefighting resources are being pushed and pulled across the country. On the 8th of November, the Australian Defence Force began assisting with the firefighting efforts.
The Mount Compass fire in South Australia kept crews busy as fire ripped through grass and scrub. At one point the CFS issued an emergency warning as the fire threatened several houses.
FRNSW 428 Queanbeyan were responded to the Beard industrial estate in the ACT to a reports of a building fire. On arrival they found a large metal recycling yard on fire, with a number of explosions emanating from within.
It isn’t fire related, but this sure is some amazing footage! Damian Goodman had just left work when he noticed this Air Ambulance literally “crossing the road”. You have got to see this one!
The big guns have been out recently for bush fires burning to the north of Sydney, up around the Williamtown and Raymond Terrace area.
