Have a look at these amazing hand-painted firefighter helmets that are up for sale in an effort to raise funds to help fight against Motor Neuron Disease! Each year we see amazing items get put up for auction to help raise funds for the fight and this year has been no exception.
This year Team Hope for MND, which is a mix of 1 Fire & Rescue station (421 Picton) and 2 NSW RFS stations (Bargo and Tahmoor) is auctioning off 4 beautiful hand-painted helmets. These would look great in anyone’s house, or even a fire station. So grab your eBay account and throw some money towards a great cause.
The helmet was donated and painted by Nigel Necklen from Necklen Art, which features iconic Sydney buildings – including the Sydney Tower.
The helmet was donated and painted by Kerrie Swan from Sunspur studios / The Little Black Swan Art and features an amazing underwater scene.
The helmet was donated and painted by Carole Elliot from and features a QLD Fire and Rescue Helmet with logo surrounded by a stunning sea turtle.
The helmet was donated and painted by Ericka Baker from Sunspur studios and contains beautiful Western Australian Wildflowers.
There is some really amazing talent that has been sunk into these helmets, a very worthwhile addition to any house or station with the added benefit of the sale price going directly to help the fight against MND.
There’s free postage on all the helmets, but if you’re attending the Firies Climb for MND in Sydney this year, the helmet can be picked up there.
I founded Flashover to promote Australian Firefighting. I’ve been a volunteer and a paid firefighter but now I spend my time chasing up leads, promoting good mental health and making the occasional Grumpy Firecom comic!
