On 26/11/16 at 13:03hrs Aldinga Beach 34 was responded to reports of Fire on a Beach. Port Willunga beach is a beautiful and popular beach, with steep cliffs, meaning little to no vehicle access. Due to this, crew donned knapsacks and walked in to investigate, finding a discarded camp fire in front of the old boat sheds carved into the cliffs. Crew were able to extinguish the fire with no impact to the public accessing the busy beach.

It appears this spot seems to be dangerously beautiful to look at and the crew were lucky to escape without spending the day relaxing.
