2nd Alarm grass fire in Smeaton Grange NSW

At 14:15 Hrs on the 4th of February 2017, 248 Camden was responded to a second alarm grass fire in Smeaton Grange, NSW. Upon arrival we were tasked with reporting to an adjoining street for property protection on factory complexes and crews deployed multiple hand lines to combat the fire.

No properties were damaged by the fire and it burnt out around 6HA of grass. Stations in attendance were 093 Narellan, 088 Campbelltown, 087 Rosemeadow, 007 Horningsea Park, 092 St Andrews, Duty Commander South West and the NSW Rural Fire Service.
